Pricing
Prices exclude tax and are charged to a prepaid balance in euros (see Billing). Only generations are billed: reads, styles and edit materials are free. A test key never charges anything.

The tier depends on the total spent (“Spent” column) since the organization was created: the price of the generations charged, minus what was refunded, whether the credit came from a top-up or a granted credit. A top-up alone does not change the tier. It goes up with the charge that crosses a threshold and never goes down. Its discount applies to every price, upscaling included; the discounted price is rounded down to the cent. The generation that crosses the threshold keeps the price fixed at its acceptance: the new discount applies to the next ones. The tier also sets the cap of a single top-up (“Max top-up” column) and the rate limits.

- The price, discount included, is fixed and charged when the generation is accepted. It appears in its
costfield. - A refused request (invalid parameter, insufficient balance, monthly limit reached, heavy load, rate limit) is never charged.
- A generation that fails, or is canceled before it starts, is refunded in full. The refunded amount appears in
cost.amount_refunded.
Each top-up is valid for 12 months after it is received. Amounts that expire first are used first. An email announces the expiry of a remainder 30 days before.
